TAMPA, Fla. – The 2026 All-Sun Conference Beach Volleyball Teams were announced Thursday morning, and the Loyola Wolf Pack pair of Amaya Bazemore and Isabella Rodrigue earned a First Team selection.Â
Â
Bazemore, a graduate student from Panama City, Florida, and Rodrigue, a junior from Pearl River, Louisiana, are making their second appearance on an All-Sun Conference team after receiving Second Team honors last season. Both also received Academic All-Conference honors from the Sun Conference for the second year in a row. Â
Â
Loyola has put together a 13-3 overall record this season, going 8-2 in the team's 10 Sun Conference matches. Bazemore and Rodrigue had a 12-1 record, splitting time between the No. 3 and No. 4 position, and they finished the conference schedule 10-0. They are one of just three pairs to go undefeated in Sun Conference matches.
Â
Bazemore and Rodrigue are one of the winningest pairs in the four-year history of Wolf Pack beach volleyball. After tying for the single-season record with a 15-6 mark last year, they now have a 27-7 overall record across two seasons.
Â
The Sun Conference also released its Spring Academic All-Sun Conference recipients this week, which requires student-athletes to have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.5. In addition to Bazemore and Rodrigue, Loyola's honorees also included Ellie Connor, Madeline Corrall, Kala Emanuelli, Samantha Guillotte, Kiarelis Martinez, Alexa Palmer, Juliet Petruzelli, and Belén Puche Laguna.Â
Â
The Wolf Pack will be the No. 3 seed in the 2026 Sun Conference Beach Volleyball Championship, which begins on Friday in Sarasota, Florida, on the campus of New College of Florida. The team's first-round matchup pits Loyola against No. 6 seed Webber International, which has won the tournament in four consecutive years.Â
