SARASOTA, Fla. – The Loyola Wolf Pack beach volleyball team bowed out of the 2026 Sun Conference Beach Volleyball Championship with 3-2 losses against Warner University and defending champions Webber International University Friday evening.

Loyola finishes the season 13-5 overall in Jenna Ibieta's first season as head coach. The team's win percentage of 72.2 was the highest in the four-year history of the program.

The Wolf Pack began the day's first match with a straight-sets victory from the court 2 team of Zoe Barnes and Kiarelis Martinez, who were playing in their first match together this season due to Samantha Guillotte being out. Isabella Rodrigue and Amaya Bazemore also got a win, 21-5, 19-21, 15-11, on court 4 as the Pack went up 2-0 in the match. Webber responded with wins on the other three courts, however, concluding with a three-set win on court 1 to claim the team victory.

The Warner match began with a quick win for the Royals on court 2, but Bazemore and Rodrigue won in straight sets to tie things up at 1-1. Loyola's top pair of Kala Emanuelli and Madeline Corrall also won in straight sets, 21-13, 21-18, to take a 2-1 lead in the match, but Warner pulled out three-set victories on courts 3 and 5 to take the match.

Bazemore and Rodrigue finished the season with a 14-1 overall record, setting a new program high for a pair's win percentage in a single season. Rodrigue also totaled 16 victories in 2026 after winning two with Barnes earlier in the year. Her 16 wins are the most for an individual in a single season in team history. Together, Bazemore and Rodrigue went 29-7 over two seasons.

Corral and Emanuelli finished the year with a 10-6 record, moving their career record together to 32-24, the most for any pair with the Wolf Pack. Martinez, who played most of the year with Samantha Guillotte, compiled a 10-4 record with Guillotte and three more wins with other partners to finish the year 13-5. Corrall (40), Emanuelli (39), Martinez (37), Guillotte (36), Juliet Petruzelli (35), and Rodrigue (33) are the first Wolf Pack players to reach 30 career wins, and they now sit atop the program record book for most career wins by an individual.
