MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference announced its 2025-26 Women's Golf All-Conference teams on Monday, and four members of the Loyola University New Orleans women's golf team were honored in the announcement.
Sarah Meral received first-team honors, and Catherine Singletary, Aaliyah Achary, and Johanna Haver represented the Wolf Pack on the second team. Haver was also placed on the SSAC All-Freshman Team. Achary, Meral, Singletary, and Lauren Waltzer earned SSAC All-Academic honors, and Meral was Loyola's representative on the SSAC Champions of Character team.
It's the fifth time in the last six years the Wolf Pack has had at least four make an all-conference team.
Meral is making her second career appearance on an SSAC All-Conference list after a second-team honor as a junior in 2025. Currently the No. 35-ranked individual women's golfer in the NAIA, Meral has two individual medalist titles this season and five total Top 10 finishes.
Singletary has been an SSAC All-Conference team member all four years of her Loyola career, and she's only the fourth student-athlete in program history to earn a second team or better position four times. The League City, Texas, native is currently ranked No. 42 individually in the NAIA, and she has one individual medalist honor this season with five Top 10s.
After making the SSAC All-Freshman Team last season, Achary joins her three teammates on the SSAC All-Conference Second Team. She's ranked No. 78 in the NAIA with four Top 10 finishes this season.
Haver makes it four times in the last five years that the Loyola women's golf team has had an SSAC All-Freshman Team representative. Her No. 88 position on the NAIA individual rankings also gives the Wolf Pack four student-athletes in the Top 100 nationally. Haver has three Top 5 placements this season as well, including second-, third-, and fourth-place finishes.
Her teammates, Singletary and Achary, also made the all-freshman team earlier in their careers.
