KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released another Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll on Friday, and the Loyola University New Orleans Wolf Pack stays put as the No. 8-ranked team in the NAIA.
Friday's ranking remains Loyola's best position in the Top 25 since finishing fifth at the 2022 NAIA National Championship.
No. 2 Dalton State and No. 7 William Carey give the Southern States Athletic Conference three teams in the Top 10. Those three are also the only three in the league in the Top 25 rankings.
After getting off to a hot start this spring with team wins at the Spring Golden Tiger Collegiate and the LTU Spring Break Invitational in March, the Wolf Pack stepped up in competition during their last two tournaments of the regular season. Loyola placed third at the BMCU Spring Classic, which included three other NAIA Top 25 teams, and sixth at the Roadrunner Spring Invitational, which had 10 nationally ranked teams in the field.
Loyola has two individuals in the Top 50 of the NAIA individual rankings, as Sarah Meral (No. 33) and Catherine Singletary (No. 38) both have individual wins this season. Aaliyah Achary and Johanna Haver are also in the Top 100, checking in at No. 81 and No. 85, respectively.
The Pack now has their sights set on the SSAC Championship, which takes place April 20-22 in Greenville, Alabama, at RTJ Cambrian Ridge.
