Beach volleyball wins 5-0 on Senior Day

KENNER, La. – The Loyola Wolf Pack beach volleyball team hosted Brenau (Ga.) for Senior Day on Saturday to close out a series of Sun Conference matches at home. 

Loyola (9-3, 5-2 SUN) won 5-0 over the Tigers, marking the Pack's third sweep of the weekend. It was also the fourth win in a row for the team going back to last weekend. 

The senior duo of Kala Emanuelli and Madeline Corrall only dropped six total points in their win at the No. 1 position, 21-5, 21-1. It was their third win in a row, as they improved to 6-4 on the season. 

The Pack's No. 2 team, seniors Kiarelis Martinez and Samantha Guillotte, became the first to 10 wins for the Pack this season with a 23-21, 21-10 victory. Their record is now 10-1 this season. 

Juliet Petruzelli and Isis Harink won 21-10, 21-9 on court 3 to give them a 5-1 overall record this season. 

Amaya Bazemore and Isabella Rodrigue remained perfect on the year, 9-0, with a 21-7, 21-6 win at flight 4. 

The Wolf Pack will close out Sun Conference play next Saturday in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with matches against Mobile and William Carey.
