Wolf Pack finishes Music City Collegiate Tuesday

ROCKVALE, Tenn. – The Loyola University New Orleans men's golf team wrapped up the Music City Collegiate on Tuesday with the third round, finishing the 54-hole event in 16th place (+42). The team shot a score of 302 for the third consecutive round to get to its 906 three-round total. 
 

Next on the schedule for the Wolf Pack is the LaTour Intercollegiate, hosted by Nicholls, Oct. 19-20 in Mathews, Louisiana. 
 

Leon Mishkin had the best finish on the individual leaderboard for the Wolf Pack. His third-round 74 moved him back to 13th place with a tournament score of 217 (+1). That 54-hole score is tied for the seventh-best three-round tournament score in program history, too, and it's the best of Mishkin's collegiate career. 
 

Mishkin had a strong finish to his round to help him vault back into the Top 15. He started his day with a birdie, but found himself 5-over with six holes to play. The sophomore ended the day with four birdies on his next five holes to help him get back down to 2-over for the round. 
 

Henry Day finished his week strong with three birdies en route to his third-round 76 (+4) on Tuesday. He placed tied for 43rd with a tournament score of 225 (+9) in his collegiate debut. Peter Weirich was next for Loyola in a tie for 65th (+13). He shot a 75 (+3) on Tuesday with 11 pars and two birdies on his card. 
 

Cristobal Salome placed tied for 80th (+19) and Oliver White was tied for 97th (+35) after rounds of 77 (+5) and 83 (+11), respectively, during the tournament's final day.
