MARION, Ind. – The Loyola men's and women's track and field teams made their way to the NAIA National Championships on Wednesday to take part in the three-day event. The Wolf Pack brought seven student-athletes to the meet, competing in a total of four events. Despite rainy conditions and cold weather, the Maroon and Gold left the event with its second-ever track and field All-American.

Jordyn Minor put together an excellent performance on Wednesday. The sophomore finished the long jump in fifth place, recording a distance of 5.78 meters, 0.06 meters behind first place. With her performance, Minor became Loyola's second-ever track and field athlete to earn NAIA All-America honors. The Wolf Pack's first track and field NAIA All-American, Loyola Hall of Famer Leah Banks, held the program record in the long jump prior to this season. The Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native topped that mark with her qualifying distance of 6.04 meters at the SSAC Championships. After Wednesday, Minor holds the top two performances in program history with her 5.78-meter jump in the NAIA Outdoor Championships.

Caleb Curry started off the week with a 12th-place finish of 53.53 in the 400-meter hurdles. Curry's preliminary round time of 53.53 is the third-best mark in program history. Curry joined Ollie Brumfield IV, Dallas Hughes, and Bryce Darensbourg for Thursday's 4x400-meter relay. The team ended the preliminary round in 16th, notching a time of 3:16.57, the second-best time in school history.

Tenosh Landry closed out the NAIA Championships on Friday in the high jump. The SSAC Women's Freshman Field Athlete of the Year posted a mark of 1.61 meters, ending the event in a tie for 14th place. Landry's 1.61-meter performance is tied for the fourth-best in program history.
