HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Loyola University New Orleans men's golf team finished the final 18 holes of the Carey Collegiate on Tuesday with the team finishing in 14th place with a 927 (+75) 54-hole score.
Cole Haase and Cristobal Salome led the Wolf Pack on Tuesday with 73 (+2) scores. Haase ended his third round 2-under through his last six holes to help his scoring, and Salome played even-par during his final 10 holes to keep his score low. Haase finished in 34th place (+15) while Salome took 52nd (+20).
Peter Weirich finished between his two teammates in 48th (+19). He shot a third-round 78 (+7) to keep him in the middle of the individual leaderboard. Arthur Mijic and Cameron Bruce were next in scoring with 68th (+26) and 73rd (+29) finishes, respectively.
Loyola's next tournament is scheduled for March 24-25 in West Point, Mississippi. The Pack will take part in the BMCU Spring Classic at Old Waverly Golf Club.
