WEST POINT, Miss. – The Loyola Wolf Pack men's golf team finished the BMCU Spring Classic on Tuesday, placing 16th on the team leaderboard. Loyola is next scheduled to take part in the Southern States Athletic Conference Championship, which takes place April 13-15 at Cambrain Ridge in Greenville, Alabama.
Leon Mishkin led the Wolf Pack all week, and he finished the three-round tournament with a score of 236 (+20). As the only Wolf Pack golfer to break 80 on the tough Mossy Oak Golf Club course in all three rounds, he finished his week with a third-round 78 (+6) to finish tied for 30th in the 88-man field. Cole Haase had the low round of the day for Loyola, shooting a 72 (E) to jump up 30 spots on the individual leaderboard into a tie for 35th (+21).
Manuel Corral placed 74th (+38), Jude LeBoeuf finished 86th (+52), and Arsenios Kalogerakis ended up 87th (+58).
