NEW ORLEANS – The Loyola Wolf Pack men's golf team wrapped up another tournament on Tuesday, finishing in 17th place at the University of New Orleans' Gulf Coast Collegiate, which took place at Loyola's home course - English Turn.
ULM and Central Arkansas both shot under-par through the 54 holes, finishing with team scores of 856 (-8) and 861 (-3) to run away from the field. All of the Top 10 on the individual side shot even-par or better, too, with the co-winners carding 4-under tournament scores.
Cristobal Salome was Loyola's best finisher, putting together a 12-over tournament score to place 56th on the 96-man individual leaderboard. He began the day finishing his 1-over, 73 second round before carding a 79 (+7) in the afternoon during his third round. Arthur Mijic was next for the Pack in 72nd place (+18), as he put good scores on the board in the first (76) and second rounds (73), but a rocky third round (85) caused him to fall on the leaderboard.
Cole Haase (+20) and Peter Weirich (+22) were within two strokes of each other in 81st and 85th place, and Michael Bullock (+26) finished off the scoring in 90th place.
