Competitive cheer competes at Life

MARIETTA, Ga. – The Loyola University New Orleans competitive cheer team continued its season on Sunday with the Life U Classic. The competition featured two rounds of scoring, as the Wolf Pack took second in the first round and tied for third in the second round. 
 

Alex Balinbin, Alyvia Pierson, Gabbi Kliebert, Kaylee Truong, Mia Saldivar, Mya Keys, Sydney Brasseux, TaLaija Allen and Zoe Schmit all competed for the Wolf Pack.     
 

Loyola started the day with a total score of 85.13 to edge UT Southern (84.7) for second place. Xavier won the competition with a score of 93.1, and Marian (82.7) and FMU (80.88) followed UT Southern in the Top 5 of the 10-team competition. Round 2 featured one less team, as UT Southern claimed the top spot with a score of 88.13. Marian placed second (87.83), then Loyola and FMU tied for third after scoring an 85.4. 
 

The Pack is next scheduled to compete in the Battle in the Big Easy at Xavier on Feb. 28 and March 1.
