Wolf Pack wraps up LaTour Intercollegiate Tuesday

MATHEWS, La. – The Loyola Wolf Pack men's golf team played the final 18 holes of the Nicholls State-hosted LaTour Intercollegiate on Tuesday, finishing in 14th place in a field made up of mostly NCAA Division I programs. 
 

Loyola carded a third-round 315 (+27) to finish with a tournament score of 921 (+57). The Wolf Pack will now travel to Cohutta, Georgia, next week to take part in the ALC Eagle Invite at Nob North Golf Course. 
 

Cristobal Salome had the best finish for Loyola in 48th place (+8), followed by Peter Weirich in 54th place (+10). The top 24 golfers on the individual leaderboard finished even-par or better. 
 

Weirich and Arsenios Kalogerakis had the low rounds of the day, each shooting a 78 (+6). Both started their day with a birdie on the opening hole, and both had three birdies on their card throughout the round. Kalogerakis finished the week in 73rd place (+28). 
 

Salome closed out his tournament with a 79 (+7), and Leon Mishkin and Miles Russell had rounds of 80 and 81, respectively. Mishkin placed 70th (+20) and Russell finished in 71st place (+22).
