Wolf Pack continues SSAC Championship Tuesday

GREENVILLE, Ala. – The Southern States Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship continued on Tuesday with the second of three rounds, and the Loyola Wolf Pack carded a team total of 305 (+17) to sit in sixth place on the leaderboard with 18 more holes to play on Wednesday. 
 

No. 1 Dalton State saw its lead shrink a little to No. 19 William Carey, but the Roadrunners (+1) still maintain an eight-stroke advance over the Crusaders (+9). Blue Mountain Christian (+29), UT Southern (+30), Faulkner (+36), Loyola (+37) and Point (+39) are next on the jumbled team leaderboard. 
 

Arthur Mijic continues to lead the team in a tie for 14th place (+6), shooting a 75 (+3) on Tuesday to match his Day 1 score. He started his round with two birdies and a double bogey during his first five holes to sit at even-par, then a tough finish to his first nine holes had the junior 3-over at the turn. Seven pars, one birdie and one bogey made up his back nine to finish off his round. 
 

Max Kukuk and Preston Giroir are both tied for 24th (+10) after carding second rounds of 76 and 77, respectively. Michael Bullock matched his first-round score of 78 on Tuesday to sit tied for 34th (+12) as well. Logan Peterson was also subbed in on Tuesday, and he helped Loyola's scoring with a second-round 77 (+5). 
 

Playing as an individual, Cameron Bruce fell back a couple of spots on the leaderboard after his second-round 79 (+7). He's now tied for 18th with an 8-over tournament score.
