GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Wolf Pack dropped both duals in their Sun Conference matchups Friday against No. 5 Webber International and Warner University.

The first match was a rematch of last season's Sun Conference semifinal between Loyola and Webber, which is second in the conference and has been the fifth-ranked team in the NAIA for most of the season. Loyola's No. 1 pair, Samantha Guillotte and Kala Emanuelli, had complete control of the their match in a 21-14, 21-13 win. The second pair, Madeline Corrall and Juliana Pacini, and fifth, Emily Sheperis and Gabby Masiello, took their matches to three sets, but couldn't finish. Ultimately, Loyola beach volleyball took the loss 4-1.

Loyola began their second match against Warner University shortly after the finish of their first. Juliet Petruzelli and Samantha Ingram got the first dual point 21-9, 21-19. The other dual point came from the No. 5 position 19-21, 21-19, 15-12. Again, Loyola lost 2-3.

Loyola plays against Southeastern (Fla.) Saturday morning at 9 a.m., looking to leave Alabama with a win.
