NEW ORLEANS – The Loyola Wolf Pack will have three student-athletes competing at the NAIA Indoor Championships in Brookings, South Dakota, this week. Starting Friday, March 1, Marcus Brown, Jordyn Minor, and Eleanor Sherman will represent the Maroon and Gold at the National Championships, and the first-year Loyola athletes will compete in a total of three events.Â

Her performance in the race is tied for the 27th-best performance in the nation among NAIA qualifiers. After six meets as a Loyola athlete, Minor holds each of the Top 5 times in program history in the 60-meter dash, each breaking the previous Loyola record set in 2010.Â

In the long jump, the Baton Rouge native qualified for the NAIA National Championships at the Bleu Devils Indoor Track Classic. Minor's jump of 5.92 meters ranks second among all national qualifiers for the 2024 season, passing the A standard qualifying mark by 0.30 meters.
