Loyola beach volleyball wins against Bob Jones University

CLEVELAND, Ga. – The Loyola University New Orleans beach volleyball team closed out a three-match weekend at Truett McConnell University's tournament with a non-conference tilt against Bob Jones University on Saturday.

 

The Wolf Pack earned a 4-1 win against the Bruins, improving to a 6-9 overall record this season. The team went 2-1 in the weekend's matches after defeating St. Andrews University on Saturday. 

 

Elizabeth Prado and Gabby Masiello had a quick win at flight 4, with their opponents only totaling 20 points for the entire match. Brittany Cooper and Samantha Ingram also won in straight sets at flight 3, the pair's 10th victory of the season. 

 

Madeline Corral and Kala Emanuelli went 3-0 on the weekend after earning a win in three sets at flight 1. Kiarelis Martinez and Emily Sheperis also won in three sets, their second of the weekend, at flight 5. 

 

The Wolf Pack will travel to Mobile, Ala. in 10 days for two more Sun Conference duals. Two matches against the University of Mobile and William Carey
