Wolf Pack finishes fourth at MGCCC Fall Invitational

GULFPORT, Miss. – In cold and windy conditions, the Loyola Wolf Pack men's golf team wrapped up their fall schedule with the third and final round of the MGCCC Fall Invitational on Tuesday. The Wolf Pack battled the elements to a 20-over, 308 team score, moving up one spot to fourth place with a 51-over, 915 tournament score. 
 

Trey Ponce finished the three rounds 11-over after his third round of 80 (+8). He finished tied for 15th with a three-round total of 227. Arthur Mijic had the low round of the day for Loyola, shooting a 1-over, 73 to move up 18 spots on the individual leaderboard into a tie for 20th. The junior had four birdies and five bogeys on his card to finish the week 13-over (227). 
 

Max Kukuk and Michael Bullock both tied for 28th with a tournament score of 232 (+16). Bullock had a 79 (+7) during his third round, while Kukuk shot an 81 (+9). Preston Giroir had his best round of the tournament on Tuesday, turning in a 76 (+4) to move up into a tie for 34th. He finished the tournament 18-over (234). 
 

Loyola's next tournament on the schedule is the Ram Spring Invite, which will be played February 26-27 in Mobile, Alabama, at RTJ Magnolia Grove.
