NEW ORLEANS –  First-year head coach Jenna Ibieta announced the addition of Paige Shaw to her staff prior to the 2026 indoor volleyball season. Shaw joins the Wolf Pack as an assistant coach for the indoor and beach programs.

"As we continue building the future of Loyola Volleyball, it was important to find someone who not only brings high-level coaching experience, but also embraces our mission of developing the whole person," Ibieta said. "Paige embodies those values. She is passionate, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in the growth of our student-athletes on and off the court. Our strengths naturally complement one another, and I'm excited for the impact our leadership will have as we continue building a culture where competitive excellence and personal growth go hand in hand."

Shaw joins the Wolf Pack after a coaching career that spans NCAA Division I programs, club volleyball, and international camp instruction. Most recently, she served as a Division I assistant volleyball coach and recruiting coordinator at Western Carolina University, where she managed recruiting operations, trained pin attackers and liberos, and led weekly film and scouting sessions.

"I am thrilled to be a part of the Wolf Pack family," Shaw said. "I look forward to working alongside Jenna and the staff to continue building a program where our student-athletes feel supported and empowered to grow into successful young ladies on and off the court."

Before Western Carolina, Shaw spent two seasons at Grambling State University as a Division I assistant coach, stepping in as interim head coach during her tenure. There, she oversaw practice planning, game strategy, travel logistics, and equipment management while building a recruiting pipeline through relationships with club programs and directors.

Shaw's coaching background also includes a stint as head coach of TC Elite Volleyball Club in Shreveport, Louisiana, and several years as a volleyball camp instructor at locations across the globe, where she worked directly with athletes on technique and development while also speaking on panels to educate players and parents about the college volleyball process.

A standout student-athlete herself, Shaw played Division I volleyball at the University of Kansas from 2019–2021 and at Mississippi State University from 2018–2019. At Kansas, she was a member of KU Rise and served as a representative on the Volleyball Social Justice Reform Council. In 2024, she was recognized as an AVCA Diversity Awards recipient.

In her new role, Shaw will assist with all aspects of team operations for the indoor and beach volleyball programs, including recruiting, player development, practice planning, and travel logistics.
