The Wolf Pack volleyball program had three earn awards from the Louisiana Sports Writers Association on Thursday

NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana Sports Writers Association handed out its volleyball awards on Thursday, and Kala Emanuelli, Isis Harink and Robert Pitre were all honored with "of the Year" recognitions. The Wolf Pack represented well for the specialty awards, collecting three of the five given out. Emanuelli was named Louisiana's Libero of the Year, Harink received Freshman of the Year status, and Pitre was chosen as the state's Coach of the Year.

All-Louisiana honorees were nominated and voted on by the state's volleyball athletics communications directors. All collegiate volleyball players at Louisiana institutions are eligible.

These are the first "of the Year" All-Louisiana awards for the program since 2022, and the first Coach of the Year title since Jesse Zabal's recognition in 2021. Emanuelli also earned a spot on the LSWA All-Louisiana First Team, while Harink was picked to the Second Team.

Emanuelli took over the libero position this season and totaled 669 digs (4.88), which ranks sixth in the program's record book for a single season and the most digs in a season since 2007. That amount of digs ranked second in the SSAC and 11th nationally in the NAIA. Emanuelli also served 73 aces, and that's good enough for eighth in program history for a single season, second in the SSAC, and fifth in the NAIA. The San Juan, Puerto Rico, native was named to the SSAC All-Conference First Team, All-Academic Team, NAIA Scholar-Athlete Team and the CSC Academic All-District team.

As a middle blocker, Harink led the Wolf Pack with 113 total blocks (0.88 per set), including 21 solo blocks. She was second on the team with 307 kills (2.38 per set), hitting a team-high .289 on 722 total attacks. Thursday's honor adds to the long list of awards Harink has collected this season. The SSAC recognized her as the league's Freshman of the Year and Attacker of the Year, as well as a spot on the First Team and All-Freshman Team, and the American Volleyball Coaches Association honored her as the Southwest Region Freshman of the Year and All-America Honorable Mention.

After seven seasons as an assistant coach, Pitre took over the head-coaching role in 2025 and led the Wolf Pack to a 29-9 overall record, which is the second most wins in a season for the program, and the first SSAC Championship title since joining the league in 2010. Loyola advanced to its second NAIA National Championship tournament appearance in the last three seasons, and Pitre was named the SSAC Coach of the Year.
