KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Loyola University New Orleans women's golf team is headed back to the national stage after earning an at-large selection to the 2026 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship, the NAIA announced on Friday. The tournament will be held at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti, Michigan May 19-22.
No. 8 Loyola heads into the national championship after recording three team victories during the 2025-26 campaign and a third-place finish at the Southern States Athletic Conference Championship last month. Those three team wins came in a row, too, as the Pack won the Alice Lloyd Eagle Invitational during the team's last tournament in the fall, before back-to-back wins in March at the Spring Golden Tiger Collegiate and LTU Spring Break Invitational to start the spring schedule.
The Wolf Pack lineup has been consistent throughout the year, with the group of Sarah Meral, Catherine Singletary, Aaliyah Achary, and Johanna Haver all earning SSAC All-Conference honors after competing in all eight tournaments this season. Evie Sisk joins that group, and she's participated in all but one tournament this season as well. Meral and Singletary each captured individual tournament titles this season, and both finished the year ranked among the Top 50 golfers in the NAIA individual rankings.
Loyola's appearance in the NAIA National Championship continues a stretch of national success for the program, which has consistently competed among the top teams in the country in recent seasons. This will be the eighth straight year the Wolf Pack will compete for the national title as a team, finishing as high as fifth in 2022.
The 2026 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship features 30 teams and six individual qualifiers competing over four rounds. Additional championship information, including tee times and pairings, will be announced by the NAIA at a later date.
