No. 8 Loyola concludes NAIA Championship

YPSILANTI, Mich. – The NAIA National Championship came to an end for the eighth-ranked Loyola Wolf Pack women's golf team, failing to make the cut after 36 holes of the tournament. Loyola carded a second-round 323 (+35) to bring its tournament score to 649 (+73), which positioned the team in 18th place and three spots outside the cut line. 
 

Aaliah Achary had another solid day, matching her first-round score with another 78 (+6). She finished with a tournament score of 156 (+12). She started her round with three birdies through her first six holes, but still sat even-par during that time. The sophomore was 1-over after her first nine holes, and she shot a 5-over score during her back nine to get to her final score. 
 

Sarah Meral also matched her first-round score of 81 (+9) to card a two-day total of 162 (+18). Johanna Haver shot an 82 (+10) for her second round, Catherine Singletary carded an 82 (+10) as well, and Evie Sisk finished her tournament with a 93 (+21).
