Battling another stacked field of five other NAIA Top 25 teams, plus two more from the Southern States Athletic Conference, Loyola is in third place out of nine competing squads.

The 19th-ranked Wolf Pack had rounds of 304 (+16) and 306 (+18) at Canebrake Country Club to sit 34-over for the day. The field is set to tee off Tuesday morning for the third and final round.

Aaliyah Achary leads the Wolf Pack in third place after 36 holes of play, moving up a couple of spots after finishing the first round tied for fifth. Her first-round 74 (+2) was followed up by a 73 (+1) in the afternoon to sit at 3-over for the tournament. She's tied with competitors from Keiser and William Carey, and that grouping in one stroke from second place and five from the leader.

Achary was 3-over after her first nine holes of the day, but she finished her morning round with two birdies and six pars on her card to help drop a stroke. She carried the momentum into her second round by recording a birdie on her first hole (No. 7, par 3, 152 yards), then she birdied her 13th hole (No. 1, par 4, 315 yards) before another one on her 16th hole (No. 5, par 5, 446 yards) to finish her round 1-over.

Catherine Singletary joins her teammate in the Top 10 with a 7-over day, shooting scores of 76 (+4) and 75 (+3) to sit in ninth place. The senior carded four birdies and an eagle during her morning round, then four more birdies and 11 pars during her second round to stay within striking distance of a Top 5 finish.
