KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Loyola University New Orleans women's golf team will begin its 2025 season nationally recognized once again, landing at No. 19 in Friday's NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Rating. This marks the program's 54th consecutive appearance in the national rankings.
The Wolf Pack continues to solidify its reputation as one of the top programs in the country, returning a talented lineup featuring multiple all-conference performers, including Catherine Singletary (SSAC All-Conference First Team) and Sarah Meral (SSAC Newcomer of the Year). Singletary, who has 29 collegiate tournaments under her belt, was also an NAIA All-America Third Team member, and Meral was on the SSAC Championship All-Tournament Team after placing third last April. Aaliyah Achary, Sydney D'Avella, Evie Sisk and Lauren Waltzer all played a key role on the team last season as well, and five newcomers join the squad this season.
Loyola is joined in the rankings by Dalton State and William Carey, which are ranked No. 6 and No. 8 in the national rankings. Loyola's first tournament is scheduled to start on Monday, September 15, at Keiser University's Seahawk Shootout in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
