Singletary lands NAIA All-America nod

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its 2025 Women's Golf All-America teams on Thursday, and Catherine Singletary earned a third team selection. It's the first career honor for the junior, and Singletary becomes the sixth NAIA All-American for the Loyola University New Orleans women's golf program. 
 

Singletary was also named to the SSAC All-Conference First Team after totaling four Top 5 finishes and two more Top 10 placements during the 2024-25 season. She was also named the SSAC Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year after posting a 3.907 GPA as a finance major at Loyola. 
 

The League City, Texas, native placed second at the Skyhawk Invitational (+8) in September and the Firehawk Invite (+3) in October, adding a third-place finish at the Ram Spring Invite (+9) and a fourth-place finish at the Wolf Pack Invitational (+12), both coming in February. She added a 10th-place finish at the SSAC Championship last month, and ended the season as the No. 41-ranked golfer in the NAIA. 
 

She had two under-par rounds this season. A one-under first round at the Skyhawk Invitational propelled her to the second-place finish, and a two-under final round at the Carey Collegaite helped her place 21st at the Carey Collegaite after a couple of tough rounds to start that tournament. 
 

Singletary is currently fourth all-time in program history with 11 Top 5 finishes and 15 Top 10s throughout her Wolf Pack career.
