NEW ORLEANS – The Loyola Wolf Pack men's and women's swim teams will once again compete at the NAIA National Championships this week, as the programs have sent a combined eight swimmers to participate. The championship is set for March 5-8 at the Elkhart Aquatics Center in Elkhart, Indiana.

Benjamin Chehebar, Dylan Chehebar, Abbigail Chemacki, Emily Cooper, Charles Henderson, Monty Moore-Yetter, Harvey Quiddington and Catherine Streeter all qualified for a spot at the national meet, and they'll all compete in three individual events. The men's team will also swim in five relay events throughout the week.

Streeter will swim in the 50-, 100- and 200-yard freestyle events, as she's seeded seventh in the 50-yard race after swimming a personal-best time of 23.93 at the Trinity Tiger Invite in November. Cooper's three events consist of the 200-yard backstroke, the 400-yard IM and the 500-yard freestyle, highlighted by her 10th seed in the 400 IM race. She also swam a personal-best time at the Tiger invite, clocking in at 4:36.17 for the individual medley event. Chemacki will compete alongside her teammate in the 400 IM and 500 freestyle, and she'll also take part in the long-distance 1,650-yard freestyle event.

Moore-Yetter is the highest-seeded men's swimmer in an event at the national championship, checking in at ninth in the 200-yard breaststroke. He'll also swim in the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard IM. His times in the 200 breast (2:03.13) and 200 IM (1:53.79) at the Tiger Invite were personal bests as well. Dylan Chehebar is seeded in the Top 16 in two butterfly events - 13th in the 100-yard race and 14th in the 200-yarder. His seeded time in the 200-yard fly (1:52.46) at the Sun Conference Championship was a personal best as well.

Benjamin Chehebar has three freestyle events on his docket, racing in the 100-, 200- and 500-yard events, and Harvey Quiddington will join his teammate in the 500-yard race while also competing in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke competitions. Charles Henderson's events consist of the 500-yard freestyle, the 100-yard butterfly and the 200-yard butterfly.
