Biography
2024-25 (Sophomore):
Competed in eight meets as a sophomore this season… NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete… Sun Conference All-Academic… CSC Academic All-District... Placed 12th in the 100-yard butterfly (49.82), 19th in the 200-yard butterfly (1:54.12), and 38th in the 50-yard freestyle (21.55) at the NAIA National Championship in March… His 100-yard butterfly time at the national meet was a personal best… Had eighth-place finishes in the 100- and 200-yard butterfly events at the Sun Conference Championships… Also took 20th in the 50-yard freestyle at the conference meet… Won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:01.18 at St. Thomas… Won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.99 at Berry… Won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:59.01 vs. Life… Won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51.78 vs. Life… Won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 49.97 at the Tiger Invite.
2023-24 (Freshman):
Competed in all eight meets this season, including the NAIA National Championship in March… Earned NAIA All-America status for the 200Y Freestyle Relay event… Placed 18th nationally in both the 100Y Butterfly and 200Y Butterfly at the national meet, as well as 36th in the 50Y Freestyle… Broke the 200Y Butterfly school record at the Sun Conference Championships (1:52.65) to place 10th... Also a part of the 200Y Free Relay team that broke the school record (1:23.77)... Swam personal-bests in the 50Y Freestyle (20.93) and the 100Y Butterfly (49.94) at the Sun Conference Championship to place 17th and sixth, respectively… Also had personal-best times in the 100Y Freestyle (47.74) at Trinity’s Tiger Invitational.
Pre-Loyola:
Prepped at Fontainebleau High School and coached by Sandy Wycoff, Ginger Spansel, and Emmitt Smith… In state competition, he finished third and first at long course state in the 100-yard breaststroke. He was the men’s high point winner for his club team during high school… Holds eight records from during his time competing in club swimming over four age groups in the 100 and 200-yard and meter breaststroke events, as well as 100-meter and yard butterfly events, the 200-yard butterfly, and the 200-yard free relay… He kept above a 4.0 GPA during high school, taking eight AP courses, also being named a runner-up in an international saxophone performance competition.

Majoring in physics… Born on August 16, 2005… Son of Beth Evans and Dan Chehebar… Hobbies include music, video games, and dungeons and dragons… Favorite athletes are Caeleb Dressel and Katie Ledecky.
