Biography
2024-25 (Junior):
Competed in seven meets as a junior this season… Finished 28th in the 1,650-yard freestyle (19:22.17), 36th in the 400-yard IM (4:57.63), and 40th in the 500-yard freestyle (5:38.87) at the NAIA National Championship in March… Finished in eighth place in the 1,650-yard freestyle (18:49.42), 15th in the 500-yard freestyle (5:31.30) and 17th in the 400-yard IM (4:52.19) at the Sun Conference Championships in February, and all of those times were season bests… Won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 11:40.85 at St. Thomas… Won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:42.42 at St. Thomas… Won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:41.53 at St. Thomas… Won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:46.21 vs. Life… Won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:41.35 vs. Life… Won the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:41.95 vs. William Carey.
2023-24 (Sophomore):
Competed in all eight meets this season, including the NAIA National Championship in March… Swam season-bests in the 400Y IM (4:45.92) and 500Y Freestyle (5:20.97) at the NAIA National Championship, events she placed 22nd and 25th nationally… Also recorded a season-best time in the 1,000Y Freestyle (11:23.06) at the national meet… Earned a sixth-place finish in the 1,650Y Freestyle (18:11.79) at the Sun Conference Championship, which was also a season-best… Notched season-bests in the 200Y Breaststroke (2:37.90) against Millsaps and the 1,000Y Freestyle (11:23.06) in a tri-meet with Birmingham Southern and Milligan.
2022-23 (Freshman):
Competed in four meets this season as a freshman… Recorded season-best times in the 200-yard Freestyle (2:08.18), 500-yard Freestyle (5:23.38), 1,000-yard Freestyle (11:08.47) and 400-yard IM (4:51.92) at the Sun Conference Championships in February… Started the season with a third-place finish in the 500-yard Freestyle (5:39.85) at West Florida’s Fall Cross Divisional meet in September… Placed second in the 200-yard Breaststroke (2:46.25) and third in the 1,000-yard Freestyle (11:23.29) at the Hendrix tri-meet in January.
Pre-Loyola:
Attended Daniel Hand High School, where her coach was Jen Lyman … Three-time All-State Swimmer … One-Time All-SCC Swimmer … National High School Leadership Award … Outstanding Performance in Physical Fitness … National High School Marching Band Award … State Champion in the 500 … First Swimmer to win State Championship twice in school history … She was part of the first team to ever win the state championship.
