GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Loyola women's track and field programs was represented at the NAIA Indoor Championships on Friday. After qualifying in the long jump at the SSAC Championships, Jordyn Minor made the trip back to Gainesville, Florida, to compete at the national level. Minor finished Friday's long jump with a distance of 5.40 meters to earn 24th place.

Minor qualified for the long jump with a performance of 5.60 meters in the SSAC Championships. Earning the third-best performance in program history, Minor's 5.60 meters in the long jump was tied for the 30th-best performance in the nation before today's championships.
After posting a distance of 5.47 meters at last year's national championships, the sophomore Minor posted a long jump of 5.40 meters in her second season at the NAIA Indoor Championships. The sophomore earned 24th place in the event, finishing fourth among SSAC programs.

The Wolf Pack track and field teams will begin the outdoor season on Saturday, Mar. 15 at the Sean Brady Season Opener in Hammond, Louisiana.
