NEW ORLEANS – The Loyola University New Orleans women's tennis team played another tough opponent in No. 15 LSU Alexandria on Saturday at the XULA Tennis Center, falling 7-0.
The Generals secured the doubles point with wins on courts two and three, then clinched the match with straight-sets victories on the last four singles courts. Arianna Pepper and Fatima Vasquez each took a set in singles, but ultimately fell in their respective deciding sets.
The Wolf Pack will return to action when they hit the road for the LSU Alexandria Invitational, which begins February 27 in Alexandria, La.
