MOBILE, Ala. – The Loyola Wolf Pack's 2026 tennis season came to a close Thursday at the Mobile Tennis Center as the No. 11 seed Wolf Pack dropped a 4-0 quarterfinal match at the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship.

Loyola finishes the season with a 10-8 overall record after its third straight appearance in the quarterfinal round of the national tournament. This was the team's fourth straight season with at least 10 wins.

Tennessee Wesleyan won on the first two doubles courts and singles courts 2, 3, and 4 to earn the four points on the scoreboard. They also led on singles courts 5 and 6, though Micaela Ponce did go up a set after winning 7-5 in the first before the match was stopped.

Adele Fereres finishes her Wolf Pack career in second on the program's wins leaderboard, only behind Lucy Carpenter with a 57-18 career singles record across spring and fall competition. Her winning percentage of 76.0 in singles is a new program best. Fereres also posted a career doubles record of 55-24, which is third in program history behind Carpenter and Ponce.

Ponce's career doubles record finishes at 56-27, the second-most doubles wins in Loyola tennis history. Ponce (39-31) and Avery Frierson (39-23) are tied for fourth on the Pack's all-time singles wins list, behind only Fereres and Carpenter.
