History was made Thursday evening as Loyola University New Orleans Head Coach Kellie Kennedy took sole possession of the program record for wins, following the (RV) Wolf Pack's 74-55 defeat of Brewton-Parker on the road.

With the victory, Loyola wins its fourth-straight game to improve to 10-3 overall behind a perfect 5-0 mark in the SSAC. Conversely, Brewton-Parker drops to 3-11 on the year and 0-5 in league play following the loss.

Jr. F Meghan Temple (Houston, Texas/Klein) recorded a double-double to pace the Wolf Pack, collecting 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Sr. G Briana Oglesby (Baton Rouge, La./University Laboratory School) poured in a game-high 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting to go along with six boards. Off the bench, So. G Zoie Miller (Frisco, Texas/Lone Star High School) chipped in 16 points, while R-So. G Di'Mond Jackson(Baton Rouge, La./University Arkansas Little Rock) added 12 points and eight rebounds in the victory.

For the Barons, Kaderia Perham tallied 15 points in 26 minutes.

In her eight years at helm of the Wolf Pack, Kennedy has accumulated a 156-71 (68%) overall record. She has led Loyola to GCAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships and directed Loyola to its first-ever SSAC Tournament Championship last season.

Under Kennedy's direction, the Wolf Pack have advanced to the NAIA National Tournament three times and have tallied 20-plus wins in five season.

"This is really exciting and I am thrilled that I was able to accomplish it," said Kennedy. "This record is significant and 156 is a significant number to me."

With the win, Kennedy supplants long-time Loyola head coach Dobee Plaisance (1995-2008) for first all-time in career wins with 156 victories.

"Dobee Plaisance did a great job before me so to be able to surpass what she did at Loyola is a great honor."

Kennedy and the Wolf Pack will travel to take on the College of Coastal Georgia on Saturday, January 9, at 2:00 p.m.
