NEW ORLEANS — Guards Caitlin Travis and Jaylee Womack combined for 33 points Tuesday for Loyola University New Orleans, but Tulane made 16-of-35 3-pointers in an 81-51 women's basketball exhibition victory against the Wolf Pack at Tulane.

Travis, a senior and first-team All-Southern States Athletic Conference last season, scored 17 points, including two 3-pointers and a 3-point play, and drew a game-high six fouls. Womack, in her first season at Loyola after transferring from Tulane, scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds to share team honors with Tiarra McPipe.

Womack and Ava Shields combined for 14 points and 3-of-3 3-pointers during a third quarter in which the Wolf Pack shot 58 percent from the floor and outscored the Green Wave 20-14.

But Tulane led for nearly 38 minutes and never trailed after a 7-0 run that followed Womack's opening basket.

Transfer Khadee Hession led Tulane with 19 points, and the junior guard had nine rebounds, two steals and a game-high seven assists in 26 minutes. Kanija Daniel scored 16 points, and Asha Sra had 12. Hession, Daniel and Sra made four 3s apiece.

NAIA All-American Alissa O'Dell produced four of Loyola's eight steals, and freshman Anna Richerson led the Wolf Pack with three assists.

It was the first of two Loyola road exhibitions against NCAA Division I opponents. The Wolf Pack will visit LSU at 7 p.m. Thursday.
