Loyola University New Orleans women's tennis fell 6-1 to in-state rival Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) this afternoon at the City Park Pepsi Tennis Center in their first home match of the season.

(New Orleans, La.) Loyola University New Orleans women's tennis fell 6-1 to in-state rival Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) this afternoon at the City Park Pepsi Tennis Center in their first home match of the season.
Senior captain Meghan de Baroncelli took home the Pack's sole victory of the afternoon, defeating LSUA's Sara Andrade in the No. 1 singles competition. de Baroncelli fell behind in the first set 3-6, but came back to win the second set 7-6, and took down Andrade in the tie-breaking set 10-7.
de Baroncelli teamed up with partner Alexa Mancuso earlier in the day in the No. 1 doubles position, but fell to the duo of Arian Cobos and Andrade 8-3. Mancuso won two individual games against the Generals' Liz Arens, but dropped the No. 2 singles match 6-1, 6-1.
