Mobile, Ala.- The Loyola University New Orleans men's basketball team lost their regular season finale to the University of Mobile, 71-69 in double overtime in Pharr Gymnasium on Saturday night. The loss dropped the Wolfpack into a three way tie for third place in the final SSAC West standings. LU will receive their pairing for the conference tournament when the brackets are announced by the SSAC.

In the second overtime, Loyola took a two point lead with 50 seconds remaining on a pair of free throws by Ryan Brock. Mobile's Brock Dockery responded with a three pointer with 30 seconds left to take a one point lead.  Brock missed a jumper on Loyola's next possession. Dockery converted on one of two free throws to extend the Ram margin to two points. Cameron Cates missed a shot at the buzzer as Mobile secured the 71-69 victory.
