NEW ORLEANS — Six athletes from Loyola University New Orleans track and field — Ollie Brumfield IV, Caleb Curry, Landon Dixon, Jermaine McGhee, Joseph Medina and Tenosh Landry — will travel to Asheville, N.C., for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships May 20-22.

Curry qualified in the men's 400-meter hurdles and as a member of the 4x400 relay team with Brumfield, Dixon and McGhee. Medina is the relay alternate. Landry qualified in the women's high jump.

Curry is 24th in the NAIA in 2026 with a 53.24 time in the hurdles. That time is one-hundredth of a second from the Loyola new-era record he set in 2025. Brumfield, Curry, Dixon and McGhee are No. 17 in the relay with 3:14.07, which is No. 2 in Loyola's records. Landry is tied for eighth in the high jump with 1.70 meters/5 feet, 7 inches — No. 2 in Loyola history and one-hundredth of a meter from the record she set in 2025. Medina will serve as the alternate on the relay team as well.Â
