NEW ORLEANS — Alissa O'Dell of Loyola University New Orleans was named Thursday to the 2026 Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-America team.

Odell — a 6-foot junior forward/center from Zachary, La., and a graduate of Zachary High School — led a 25-5 Wolf Pack team in scoring and rebounding for the second consecutive season. Odell averaged 16 points and 8.2 rebounds in 30 games in 2025-26 to help Loyola win the Southern States Athletic Conference regular-season championship, rank 16th in the final NAIA coaches poll, set a school record with a 17-game winning streak and reach the second round of the NAIA national tournament.

In February, Odell was named SSAC Player of the Year.

This is the seventh time in the last 15 seasons, all under head coach Kellie Kennedy, that Loyola has produced a WBCA All-American. Louisiana's other six NAIA members produced a collective two WBCA All-Americans during that time.
