NEW ORLEANS – The Loyola Wolf Pack men's tennis team hosted its final home match of the 2026 season on Thursday with a Southern States Athletic Conference matchup against the University of Mobile.

The last two matches both went to third sets, which were played as super tiebreaks due to the match already being clinched. Abati won 7-5, 4-6, 10-6, and Jett Nguyen won 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 10-6 to complete the sweep.
The Wolf Pack will close out the regular season with a match against the conference leaders, No. 8 William Carey. The match is set to begin at 2 p.m. on April 1 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
"We came out on fire and never let up today. We're building something special at the right time and playing really high level tennis. I'm really enjoying this season competing with this group."
"Today was our senior day. Their final home match. Many of them started this program with me. Over their careers they have fought through almost every obstacle imaginable on our way to building the best teams in Loyola history. They came here believing we could achieve goals that felt impossible. They trusted in me in good times and bad. I love and respect them so much for that. Their legacy is creating a culture and team experience that will last for years. Their futures are bright and they will be incredibly successful in whatever path they choose."
