KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Just one match into the 2026 spring season, the first NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll has been released, with the Loyola Wolf Pack dropping one spot but staying in the rankings at No. 24.

Three teams from the Southern States Athletic Conference feature in the NAIA's Top 25, with the other two teams' rankings going unchanged from the preseason: No. 6 William Carey, No. 20 Tennessee Southern, and Loyola. [Full NAIA top 25 list]

Loyola's men's team has competed twice this season, a 5-2 exhibition win over Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and a 5-2 loss against the Xavier Gold Rush in the first official match of the year. Xavier, which was No. 9 in the preseason, remained No. 9 in the new poll.

Alfredo Gallegos and Sam Izrael combined for a win at No. 1 doubles in the match against the Gold Rush. In singles, Jett Nguyen and Hippolyte de Preville each earned a winning result.

Not competing for most of February, Loyola's men's team will begin the SSAC schedule in a little over two weeks. The Wolf Pack and the Mobile Rams will face off on February 27 at the City Park Tennis Center.
