TIFTON, Ga. – The Loyola Wolf Pack women's basketball team hasn't lost a basketball game in nearly two months, with the latest victory coming on Thursday with a 77-51 decision at Abraham Baldwin (Ga.). The win moves the Wolf Pack's winning streak to nine, and it makes them 13-2 overall and 5-1 in Southern States Athletic Conference play.
Loyola will travel to Thomasville, Georgia, on Saturday for another league matchup. The Pack and the Night Hawks are set to tip off at 11 a.m. CST.
The first half was a tale of two quarters, as the two teams played close in the first 10 minutes before the Wolf Pack dominated the second frame to pull away. Both teams made five field goals in the first quarter, both teams went 0-for-6 from the 3-point line, and both teams only attempted two free throws. At the end of the first 10 minutes, the Wolf Pack led 12-11.
Alissa O'Dell doubled her scoring output in the second quarter to help outscore the Fillies 20-5 to take a 32-16 lead at the break. ABAC took an early lead, 14-13, but O'Dell went 4-for-5 from the field over the next four minutes of game time to extend Loyola's lead to 26-16 with two minutes until halftime. Tiara McPipe scored four more points and Caitlin Travis added two more to get to the halftime score.
After Chandler Caver got the Pack on the board to start the second half, O'Dell added 10 more points to her total in the third quarter. In fact, she scored Loyola's next eight points to push its advantage out to 24, 42-18. The junior would score one more time before the end of the quarter, as Addison Luker, SeQuoia Carroll and Travis also made field goals.
The fourth quarter was Loyola's highest scoring quarter, as the game's result was never in doubt. O'Dell scored nine more points to reach a new career-high with 32, while Madi Walters led the team with 10 points in the final period. Kaylee Dublin chipped in four more as well.

Abraham Baldwin shot 29.2 percent from the field in the game. THey're the fourth different team to shoot under 30 percent in a game against the Wolf Pack this season.

Loyola outrebounded ABAC 55-35 in the game. The Pack's rebounding margin of 20 was the largest for the team this season.
