KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 2025 fall schedule wrapped up last week for the Loyola Wolf Pack women's golf team, and they'll head into the spring schedule as the No. 10th-ranked team in the NAIA. The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released its final Coaches' Top 25 Rating on Friday, and the Wolf Pack dropped one spot after being ranked ninth in the last poll.
Loyola is joined in the Top 25 by two other Southern States Athletic Conference teams. Dalton State leads the conference as the third-ranked team in the NAIA, and William Carey checks in at No. 8.
The Wolf Pack is coming off their first team win of the season, winning the Alice Lloyd Eagle Invitational by 61 strokes. In cold and wet conditions, Sarah Meral claimed her first individual medalist honors of her Loyola career with a 148 (+4) 36-hole score, shooting a program record 67 (-5) during her second round to catapult into the lead.
Loyola also had good showings in its first two tournaments of the season, placing eighth in the Seahawk Shootout and third in the Carey Collegiate, both in September. Each event featured multiple nationally ranked NAIA programs. The highlight of the season so far came at William Carey's home tournament when Loyola finished ahead of No. 8 William Carey and then-No. 9 Lindsey Wilson.
The Pack has four golfers in the Top 100 of the Scoreboard NAIA Individual Rankings. Catherine Singletary leads the team with a No. 29 ranking, followed by Meral at No. 37, Aaliyah Achary at 58th, and Johanna Haver at 91st.
Loyola's 2026 spring schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
