THIBODAUX, La. – The Loyola Wolf Pack men's tennis team played its final match before the conference tournament on Saturday, falling 4-0 against NCAA Division-I squad Nicholls.
Loyola is now 2-11 on the season going into the SSAC Championship tournament, which is set to begin April 24 in Montgomery, Ala.
Nicholls won doubles matches on courts 1 and 3. Remus Hebhang-Balan and Hippolyte de Preville had a 5-3 in their match on court 2 but the match remained unfinished after Nicholls clinched the doubles point.
In singles, the Colonels won in straight sets on courts 1, 3, and 6.
