Jaxon Buratt picked up the RBI to plate Mills and give Loyola an early 3-0 lead. Collin Zeringue singled and Fernandez and Kason Cullins were both hit by pitches ot start the third inning. Then with two outs, Mills brought two runs home, 5-0, on a single to center.Â

Â
Brewton-Parker kept battling back, this time it pushed three runs across in the bottom of the sixth to tie the game, 6-6. Loyola, again, responded. After Brewton-Parker scratched one run across in the bottom half of the first, 3-1, Zeringue came through again with an RBI single to make it a 4-1 lead. The Barons answered with three runs in the next half-inning to tie it, 4-4, after two innings.Â
