NEW ORLEANS – The Loyola University New Orleans Athletics Department announced its 2024 Hall of Fame class on Monday, which includes three individuals and one team. Chad Barnes (men's basketball), Jasmine Brewer (women's basketball), Ted Jourdan (baseball) and the 2017-2018 women's basketball team will all be enshrined on January 20, 2024.

The Wolf Pack men's and women's basketball teams will host Thomas University for a doubleheader that day, and the Hall of Fame ceremony will take place after the two games in Loyola's St. Charles Room of the Dana Student Center. Tip-off for the games are 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., and the Hall of Fame reception and ceremony is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. The inductees will also be honored at halftime of the men's game. Chad Barnes played for Loyola during the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons, setting the single-season scoring record (690) during his second season. His 11 3-pointers in a game is still a school record, too. Jasmine Brewer (2010-14) scored the fourth-most career points and the second-most career rebounds in program history during her four seasons, and the team had a 63 percent winning percentage while Brewer was on the team. Ted Jourdan (1911-13) is believed to be the first professional athlete from Loyola, as he played on Loyola's first baseball team during the 1911 season. The 2017-18 women's basketball team became the third women's basketball team to enter the Hall of Fame, and the second under current head coach Kellie Kennedy. That team produced a 26-6 overall record on its way to Kennedy's third SSAC Championship in four seasons before winning a NAIA National Championship tournament game.

The Athletics Department will publish more on the inductees in January, a part of a month-long celebration of Wolf Pack Athletics.
