Wolf Pack tennis put on a dominant performance against Louisiana College on Saturday afternoon.

The men's have won their last three out of four matches, while the women's team captured their first team victory.

NEW ORLEANS, LA.- The Loyola University New Orleans Tennis program hosted Louisiana College at City Park Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Wolf Pack were dominant from start to finish, leading to the men's fifth, and the women's first team victory of the year.

The men's team only dropped one game en route to a 9-0 team victory. Jr. Steven Le (Tustin, Calif./Irvine Valley) once again set the tone for Loyola by taking the No. 1  singles match in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.

So. Ernesto de Diego (Panama City, Panama/International School of Panama) and Fr. Sean Presti (Lesigny, France/Morningside Academy) competed as a team for the first time this season and it worked to perfection as they took down the No. 1 doubles' pair for Louisiana College.

The women's team has been improving all season, and by only dropping one game, gained their first team victory in dominating fashion 8-1.

Fr. Margaret Adams (Fairhope, Ala./Fairhope) has been excellent in her first season and has solidified herself in the No. 1  singles position. After teaming up with Fr. Isabel Junquiera, who has been very productive in her own right this season, for an 8-0 doubles' victory, Adams took down Louisiana College's No. 1 singles player in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.

Jr. Lauren Rosales (San Antonio, Texas/Incarnate Word High School) and Jr. Alexa Mancuso (Leawood, Kan./Saint James) have been a very productive team this season for the Wolf Pack and continued that trend with an 8-0 victory in the No. 1 doubles match.

Seniors Madeline Smith (San Diego, Calif./Torrey Pines) and Wesley Dejoie (Detroit, Mich./University Liggett) provided strong veteran leadership by defeating their opponents without relinquishing a game, 6-0, 6-0.

The women's team will try to capture a second-consecutive victory on Sunday at the City Park Tennis Center against LSU-Alexandria. The men will be joined by the women as they host Schreiner University on March 16 at home.
