(New Orleans, La.) The Loyola University New Orleans men's and women's tennis teams fell to NCAA Division III opponent Millsaps College this afternoon, March 21 at the City Park Pepsi Tennis Center.
The Wolf Pack men dropped their match against the Majors 8-1. Junior David Mayhall took home the sole victory for the Loyola men, winning his No. 4 singles match against Avinash Ananth 6-4, 6-3.
In the women's competition, senior captain Meghan de Baroncelli earned the only victory for the Wolf Pack women. She defeated Millsaps' Deena Li Kam Wa 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.
The Wolf Pack will return to action next weekend, March 27-28 as they travel to Mobile, Alabama for their third SSAC Roundup at the Mobile Tennis Center. Loyola will face Middle Georgia State on March 27 at 9 a.m., before taking on William Carey University at 3 p.m. On Sunday, March 28, the Pack will face Belhaven University at 10 a.m.
