2024-25 (Graduate student):
The most decorated student-athlete in Loyola's history and consistently one of the NAIA's best, she spent most of the year in the top 10 in the NAIA rankings, climbing as high as No. 5 in both singles and doubles … Her 2025 accolades include: NAIA All-America First Team, First-Team All-SSAC, 4x SSAC Player of the Week, SSAC All-Academic Team, Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, CSC Academic All-America NAIA Team Member of the Year, Academic All-America First Team, Loyola Athletics Female Athlete of the Year … She went 15-4 in the spring at the top singles position and 19-2 at the No. 1 doubles position with Chloe Henderson, setting a new program record for doubles wins in a single season … In the fall, she was a finalist at the NAIA ITA Gulf Regional, finishing as the tournament runner up, to qualify for the ITA Cup for the fourth time … Went undefeated at the SSAC Championship tournament to help Loyola capture its first conference title … After five seasons at Loyola, she collected the most singles wins, doubles wins, and overall victories of any player in Wolf Pack tennis history … As of 2025, she won more SSAC Player of the Week awards in her career (11) than any other student-athlete in Loyola history, as well as any tennis player in SSAC history … She’s the only NAIA women's tennis player to earn five All-America Team appearances, and she's the only Loyola player to make First-Team All-Conference or be an NAIA All-American five times … Her final overall records: 68-31 in singles, 80-25 in doubles.
2023-24 (Senior):
Named SSAC Player of the Year for the second time in her career, plus NAIA First-Team All-America, First-Team All-SSAC, LSWA Second-Team All-Louisiana, CSC Academic All-America First Team, SSAC All-Academic Team, Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, and she was the SSAC Player of the Week three separate times during the year … Posted a 14-4 record at No. 1 singles, including 12-2 in NAIA matches and two wins against Nicholls … Went undefeated in conference singles matches, 7-0, to earn her second SSAC Player of the Year award … Loyola's first tennis player to make First-Team All-America in the NAIA … Finished the year with an ITA singles ranking of No. 5, the highest ever for a Loyola player … Earned five wins against players in the ITA top 20 … In spring doubles matches, she went 11-6 overall, including 3-4 with Fatima Vasquez, 2-0 with Micaela Ponce, and 6-2 with sister Elly Carpenter … Clinched the match against No. 4 SCAD Savannah to send Loyola into the program's first NAIA National Championship quarterfinal … In the fall, she and Vasquez reached the semifinal of the ITA Regional for the third year in a row; they also went 3-0 at the Battle Down the Bayou tournament against NCAA competition … After four seasons, her overall singles record is 47-25 … She and Vasquez went 49-20 in four years of doubles competition together, including 41-11 against NAIA competition.
2022-23 (Junior):
Named the SSAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second year in a row, and she earned her third All-Conference and Second-Team All-America selections, plus SSAC All-Academic Team honors … Became the first Loyola tennis player to be named to the All-Louisiana First Team by the LSWA … She accumulated the most total victories on the team after posting a 13-6 record at No. 1 singles and a 15-5 doubles record … Notable singles wins include Nicholls, No. 7 Middle Georgia, No. 11 St. Thomas, No. 12 Mobile, and No. 18 Holy Cross … In doubles, Lucy and sister Elly Carpenter went 3-0 at No. 2 doubles, and she and Fatima Vasquez were Loyola's No. 1 doubles team, going 12-5 and being ranked as high as No. 10 by the ITA … Notable doubles wins in the spring include No. 6 Xavier, No. 10 William Carey twice, No. 7 Middle Georgia, No. 12 Mobile, and No. 18 Holy Cross … In the fall, she and Vasquez were crowned doubles champions at the ITA Gulf Regional, and the duo went 2-1 at the ITA Cup for an overall 6-1 fall doubles record … Through their first three seasons as doubles partners, the team of Carpenter and Vasquez is 41-14 overall in doubles and 37-7 against NAIA opponents … Owns a 31-18 record at No. 1 singles after three seasons.
2021-22 (Sophomore):
Became Loyola's first-ever winner of the Southern States Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Year award, also earning SSAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, NAIA Second-Team All-America, LSWA Second-Team All-Louisiana, SSAC All-Academic Team, and First-Team All-Conference … After the season, she was ranked No. 21 in the NAIA in singles, and the team of Carpenter and Fatima Vasquez finished the season as the NAIA's No. 15 doubles team, though they started the spring season ranked No. 10 … In singles, she posted a 12-5 record, playing every match at the No. 1 position against the best player from every opposing team … Finished the season on a 10-match unbeaten streak in singles, and never lost against a conference opponent in singles … In doubles, she and Vasquez had a 13-4 record at the No. 1 spot, tying for the most doubles wins in a season in school history while never losing to any dual matches to NAIA opponents in doubles … Posted a combined 14-0 record in singles and doubles matches against conference opponents … In the fall semester, she and Vasquez reached the championship round of the 2021 NAIA Gulf ITA Regional, qualifying for the ITA Cup, where the duo won a match; in singles, Carpenter reached the quarterfinals of the regional.
2020-21 (Freshman):
Putting together one of the best freshman seasons in program history, Carpenter earned Southern States Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honors in 2021, as well as First-Team All-Conference, NAIA Second-Team All-America, and LSWA All-Louisiana Honorable Mention … Posted a 4-3 singles record in the spring dual matches and 4-2 in the fall … Reached a ranking as high as No. 8 in the NAIA, the highest ranking for any tennis player in Loyola history, after defeating two Top-10 opponents at the ITA Cup in the fall … She and Fatima Vasquez combined for a 6-2 doubles record, tied for the most wins on the team, at the No. 1 position.
