Justin Reynolds joined the Wolf Pack as an assistant coach prior to the 2023-24 season. In his first season, Loyola captured the SSAC Championship, becoming the first team to win four games in four days to earn the title. 

Prior to coming to New Orleans, Reynolds was an assistant coach with the Potawatomi Fire, helping the team secure The Basketball League championship in just its second season of competition.

Before his career as a coach, he spent eight years playing professional basketball. He started his professional career in Macedonia in 2011 before playing in France and Japan. After a year in the NBA G League with the Texas Legends, he played in Portugal, Japan, and Australia before ending his playing career in the Dominican Republic in 2019. 

Reynolds played four years at Texas A&M Corpus Christi from 2007-2011. He ended his collegiate career in the top 10 in Islanders history in points, rebounds, blocks, steals, and minutes played.
