Biography

2024 (Senior):
Made 15 starts this season as the ace of the pitching staff… SSAC All-Conference First Team… SSAC Championship All-Tournament Team… LSWA All-Louisiana Honorable Mention... Ended his Loyola career with school records in wins (29), strikeouts (347) and ERA (2.97), and he’s fourth at-time in program history with 315.2 innings pitched… Finished this season with a 10-2 record with a 3.42 ERA and 93 strikeouts in 84.1 innings… His 10 wins this season tied for a school record, and his strikeout total was third for a single season in program history behind his own school record (97) he set last season and his 95 strikeouts in 2022… Had at least six strikeouts in nine of his outings, including the first four starts of his season… Pitched at least five innings in 13 of his 15 starts, and at least six innings in seven… He saved his best outing for last, throwing a complete game with 13 strikeouts in a win over Bellevue on May 13 in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round… Struck out eight in back-to-back starts in February, leading the Wolf Pack to wins over Georgetown and Thomas… Had a nine-strikeout, seven-inning performance on April 19 against Tennessee Southern… Gave up just two hits in six innings against Blue Mountain Christian on March 2, allowed one hit in five innings with six strikeouts against Stillman on March 23, and just two hits in six innings with seven strikeouts against Mobile in the SSAC Championship Pool Play round on May 1, as he allowed no runs to score in all three of those games.

2023 (Junior):
Started all 16 of his appearances on the mound with 82.1 innings pitched, 97 strikeouts, a 3.17 ERA, and an 8-3 win-loss record … SSAC All-Conference First Team … SSAC Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 6) … Set the Wolf Pack single-season strikeouts record, and his 10.60 strikeouts per nine innings rank as the fourth-best mark in a season in program history … Also set a new Loyola career strikeouts record, with 254 by the end of his junior season … Through his first three seasons, his career ERA stands at 2.80, which is the best in a career for any Loyola pitcher … His 19 wins through three seasons are tied for the fourth-most career wins in program history, and his eight wins in 2023 are tied for the second most on Loyola’s single-season wins list … Two of his wins came over No. 8 St. Thomas and No. 5 Georgia Gwinnett … Opened the season with back-to-back games throwing eight strikeouts, including six innings of no-hit ball in a 3-1 win against LSU Alexandria on Feb 3 to win SSAC Pitcher of the Week … Struck out 10 batters to help Loyola shut out Middle Georgia 4-0 in the opening round of the SSAC Championship … Tossed a complete seven-inning game in a 5-1 win against Blue Mountain while only allowing three hits.

2022 (Sophomore):
Earned First-Team All-SSAC honors as one of the best pitchers in the conference, starting 16 games with 85.0 innings pitched, 95 strikeouts, and a 2.75 ERA … Smashed the single-season strikeouts record, as his 95 strikeouts were 15 more than any other pitcher in a single season in Loyola history … His 10.06 strikeouts per nine innings mark is the fifth-best in program history … Finished the season with a 7-2 record, with his seven wins tying him for sixth on Loyola's single-season wins list … His 2.75 ERA is the ninth-best in a season in Wolf Pack history, and his career number of a 2.60 ERA currently ranks first in program history after his first two seasons … His seven wins came against Texas Wesleyan, Blue Mountain, No. 21 Middle Georgia, Stillman, Talladega, and Mobile twice … In his second win against Mobile, which came in a one-run, seven-inning effort at the SSAC Championship Tournament, he struck out a career-high 12 batters and was later named to the 2022 SSAC Championship All-Tournament Team … Earned SSAC Pitcher of the Week honors twice during the season.

2021 (Freshman):
Started 11 games on the mound while making 13 total appearances… SSAC All-Conference Second Team… SSAC All-Freshman Team… National College Baseball Writers Association NAIA Rookie of the Week (March 25)... Led the Wolf Pack pitching staff with 62 strikeouts, the eighth-most by a Loyola pitcher in a single season… Also led the team with a 2.39 earn run average, which is the fourth-best ERA in a season in program history… Ranked third in the SSAC and 26th in the NAIA for ERA… Averaged 8.71 strikeouts per nine innings, and that’s the ninth-best mark for a Loyola pitcher in a season… Ranked second in the SSAC and 14th in the NAIA in opponents’ batting average (.191)... Ranked 17th in the NAIA in hits allowed per nine innings (6.33)... Ranked 20th in the NAIA in total earned runs allowed (17)... Pitched a seven-inning complete game against Blue Mountain on April 29, throwing five strikeouts while giving up two earned runs on four hits in a winning effort… Recorded a season-high 10 strikeouts in seven innings on March 20 against Stillman College, and that was his first career shutout performance as well… Tallied nine strikeouts while giving up zero runs against Oklahoma City in the NAIA Opening Round on May 19.

Pre-Loyola:
Attended The Dunham School in Baton Rouge, La. … Under coach Sham Gabehart, he was named All-District, All-Metro, and All-State Pitcher in his Junior year.
