Tucker Ganley

  • Title
    Graduate Assistant

The Loyola University New Orleans baseball program added another member to its coaching staff this offseason, as former player Tucker Ganley joins as an assistant coach, head coach Jeremy Kennedy announced this summer.

"I'm incredibly grateful and excited for this opportunity," Ganley said. "We have been building something special here the last four years and I look forward to helping keep the program moving in the right direction. It's also a great opportunity to work with and learn from Coach Kennedy and the rest of this talented staff."

Ganley will assist with the outfielders, as well as leading the charge on the analytics of the sport to help gain a competitive edge. He'll also help in the strength and conditioning and recruiting areas.

"This is a great addition and will continue to move the needle in the right direction for our program," Kennedy said. "I think Tucker has the right mindset and work ethic to become an incredible coach.  He has a great baseball mind and knows exactly where the program is and will be a big part in moving it to the next stage of growth."

Ganely, a Baton Rouge native, finished with a .291 career batting average on 292 at-bats and 138 games played. He also only committed one error on 112 put-outs throughout his four years, too.
