One of two Loyola pitchers with double-digit starts, he appeared in 16 games on the mound with 11 starts … Named to the SSAC All-Academic Team for the fourth time … Threw 65.0 innings with a 4-4 win-loss record and two saves … Struck out 63 batters, which is the ninth-most in a season in program history and a career best … Threw 5.2 innings in a winning effort against Lyon College in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round on May 17, striking out seven batters and allowing just two runs … At the end of his Wolf Pack career, he ranks in the top 10 in several categories in the Loyola record book, including second all-time in career strikeouts with 225 … Also totaled 225.0 innings pitched … Compiled 15 career wins, which is tied for seventh all time, and is third all-time in career saves with 10 … His career ERA of 4.64 also ranks in the top 10 in program history, tied for sixth.
2021 (Junior):
Holding down a weekend starting pitcher role, he made nine starts while appearing in 14 games on the mound… SSAC Scholar-Athlete… SSAC All-Academic… SSAC Pitcher of the Week (March 15)... Led the Loyola pitching staff by averaging 8.98 strikeouts per nine innings, which is sixth-best in program history, and he now owns three of the Top 6 best marks in the record book… Recorded a 2.77 earn run average, the ninth-best for a Loyola pitcher in a season and seventh-best in the SSAC… Ranked seventh in the SSAC and 42nd in the NAIA in ERA… Ranked 20th in the NAIA in total earned runs allowed (17)... Led the SSAC and ranked 12th in the NAIA in total runs allowed (20)... Logged 55.1 innings and compiled a 5-0 record this season with 55 strikeouts… Struck out seven batters in three different games this season (March 6 vs. Xavier; March 13 vs. Lyon College; May 6 vs. Stillman)... At the end of the season, he ranked seventh in Loyola’s history with 162 career strikeouts and fourth with a 4.16 career ERA.
2020 (Junior): Season shortened by COVID-19
Started five games on the mound, logging 22.1 innings - third on the team - with a 2-2 record… SSAC All-Academic… Improved his career ERA to 4.90 and his 104.2 career innings qualified the junior to rank him eighth in school history… Finished the season with a 3.22 ERA with nine strikeouts.
2019 (Sophomore):
Pitched in 14 games, making eight starts … Led the Pack in total strikeouts with 51 on the season after 46.1 innings pitched … Pitched five innings while only allowing two runs in a win against Dallas Christian College on February 16 … Threw a complete game against Middle Georgia State while earning his second win … Tied for the team lead in saves with two … Named to the SSAC All-Academic Team.
2018 (Freshman):
Appeared in 25 games during his freshman season … Led the team in saves with six, which ranked third in the SSAC and is tied for the third-most in a single season at Loyola … Finished second on the team in ERA at 3.50 … In his first 11 games of the season, allowed only one earned run across 15.1 innings while striking out 24 batters and recording five saves … Set the school record for strikeouts per nine innings ratio in a season at 11.75 … Named to the SSAC All-Freshman Team.
